Clarendon vendor charged with ammunition possession at airport
A 54-year-old vendor from Rocky Point, Clarendon, has been charged with unauthorised possession of ammunition following an incident at Norman Manley International Airport.
Reports from the Elletson Road Police indicate that around 6:15 pm on Thursday, November 21, Conset Maxine was at the Kingston-based airport.
During routine checks, Maxine’s baggage was reportedly searched, and a 9mm Glock magazine containing nine rounds of 9mm ammunition was allegedly discovered in her luggage.
She was subsequently arrested, and following an investigation, Maxine was charged.
Her court date has not yet been finalised.
