10 foods to boost your focus
BOOSTING your focus directly impacts productivity, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. Improved focus allows you to complete tasks faster and with greater accuracy, it reduces time lost due to distractions, meaning you can accomplish more in less time, and when focused, you absorb and retain information more effectively.
Nutritionist Keisha Black says to boost focus and mental clarity, you should aim for a diet rich in nutrients that support brain health and energy levels.
Here are 10 top foods she suggests.

Fatty fish like salmon, trout and sardines are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which support brain function, improve memory, and reduce brain fog.
Leafy green vegetables
Spinach, kale, and other green leafy vegetables are packed with antioxidants, vitamins C and K, and folate, all of which are linked to better cognitive function.
Berries
Blueberries, strawberries and blackberries are rich in antioxidants that improve communication between brain cells and may delay cognitive decline.
Nuts and seeds
Walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, chia seeds provide vitamin E and healthy fats, helping protect brain cells and improving cognitive performance.
Whole grains
Oats, brown rice, quinoa supply steady energy due to low glycaemic index, keeping you alert and reducing energy crashes.

Dark chocolate contains caffeine and flavonoids that improve mood, memory, and focus (in moderation).
