PM gets first national ID
Prime Minister Andrew Holness displays his national identification card, the first issued Friday by the National Identification and Registration Authority in Kingston. "Today is a historic day for Jamaica. We have now gone live with the issuance of the national identification card, marking a new era in the Government's committment to a modern, efficient and secure Jamaica. We are finally seeing a vision come to life," Holness said after accepting the card. Beside the prime minsister is Delroy Chuck, the justice minister.
