Driver charged after bags with cash that ‘fell out’ of security vehicle found at his home
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have charged one man in relation to the incident in which two bags of cash allegedly fell from a security vehicle on the Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard in Kingston last Thursday.
Charged with simple larceny is 52-year-old Aldin Nelson, a driver of Harbour View, St Andrew.
Reports are that about 9:45 am, security officers were transporting money when a motorist alerted them that the back door of the truck was open. The motorist also reported that two bags had fallen out along the roadway.
The police said checks were made but the bags were not recovered.
