PJ Patterson Highway impassable after two-truck collision
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Motorists are being urged to avoid PJ Patterson Highway as the roadway has been completely blocked with goods and building materials following a collision involving two motor trucks.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is advising that the crash scene is about 58km after passing the Clarendon Toll booth heading in a westerly direction.
Traffic is currently being diverted off the highway, back to the old road and through Clarendon Park into Porus, after which motorists can re-join the highway. As the roadway is currently being cleared, the police are advising motorists to exercise caution and to expect delays along that thoroughfare.
