WATCH: Molynes Road flooded
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Sections of Molynes Road have been flooded due to heavy and increased rainfall across the island due to Tropical Storm Rafael.
When Observer Online teams traversed the road Tuesday morning, sections of the thoroughfare were overflowing with water.
At 7:00 am the centre of Tropical Storm Rafael was located about 130 kilometres (80 miles) south-southwest of Montego Bay, and 180 kilometres (110 miles) south of Negril Point, Jamaica as it began to move away from the island.
However, tropical storm conditions including strong gusty winds and heavy rainfall are still expected throughout Tuesday.
