Courts, BOJ remain closed on Tuesday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — All courts across the island will remain closed on Tuesday as a precautionary measure due to Tropical Storm Rafael.
The Court Administration Division (CAD) said cases scheduled for Tuesday will be rescheduled with details regarding new dates provided as soon as possible.
Barring further impact from the storm, the CAD said courts will reopen and resume regular operations on Wednesday.
Likewise, the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) has suspended its teller services until further notice.
In the meantime, BOJ said it will activate its essential services protocol to continue providing core central bank services to banks and the financial market.
