Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to speak in Jamaica
Indian spiritual leader and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is coming to Jamaica in December.
The global humanitarian, who is known for developing and teaching holistic health practices as well as spreading the message of peace globally, is scheduled to deliver two public addresses in the island hosted by Art of Living Jamaica.
The first public talk will be held at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston on December 12, beginning at 6pm. The second event will be held on December 14 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Montego Bay.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has transformed the lives of over 500 million people across 183 countries through his Art of Living Foundation which was founded in 1981.
The Art of Living offers highly effective educational and self-development programs that eliminate stress and foster deep inner peace, happiness, and well-being. These programmes include breathing techniques, meditation, yoga, and practical wisdom for daily life, according to the foundation’s website.
