Jah Single highlights the sideman on ‘Uber Boy’
Florida-based recording artiste Jah Single salutes the sidemen on his latest single Uber Boy.
Uber Boy is among the tracks featured on Jah Single’s eight-track EP In My Element, which was released in July.
“Uber Boy tells the story of a man who, like an on-demand service, picks up, drops off, and delivers love to women. The song is inspired by the concept of Uber, with a creative spin—portraying the “side man” as an Uber driver, offering love as his service,” Jah Single told Observer Online recently.
Jah Single, who is originally from the March Pen Road area of Spanish Town, describes his musical style as reggae fusion.
“My music is a unique blend of reggae and dancehall fused with other genres such as Afrobeats, Hip Hop and RnB. I could have done just reggae and dancehall, but I want to make music that will resonate with an international audience,” he shared.
Jah Single launched his recording career in 2019 with a single titled Pillion which was produced by Ransom Beats. Some of his other songs are Mow Down, In My Element and Bravo.
