Chapelton Maroons, Arnett Gardens draw in rescheduled JPL match
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Arnett Gardens came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Chapelton Maroons in their rescheduled Jamaica Premier League match day 2 game played at the Anthony Spaulding Complex on Thursday.
After a hot-tempered 1-1 draw against Waterhouse, Chapelton Maroons can only blame themselves for not winning the game after missing a first half penalty.
They would however take the lead in the 22nd minute when Jamari Howell broke the deadlock but Arnett Gardens who were coming off a 3-0 win over Molynes United on Sunday, levelled the scores in the 37th minute when Warner Brown scored his fifth goal of the season, tied for the lead with Atapharoy Bygrave of Waterhouse.
The point earned saw Arnett Gardens take over sixth place on nine points, breaking the tie with Vere United, while Chapelton Maroons moved into a three-way tie on eight points with Vere United and Humble Lion.
