Dunbeholden beat Mt Pleasant 3-2 in rescheduled JPL game
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Dunbeholden FC won back-to-back games in the Jamaica Premier League in a four- day span after outscoring Mt Pleasant FA 3-2 in their rescheduled match 3 game played on Wednesday.
The St Catherine-based club had lost their first four games and raced up the tables to 11th place on six points from six games, while Mt Pleasant, who were losing their first game of the season, are in fourth place on 12 points, two off the lead.
Mt Pleasant FA took the lead but Dunbeholden, who finished the game with 10 men, scored three times to lead 3-1 before Mt Pleasant scored a second to cut the deficit to one.
Kyle Ming scored for Mt Pleasant in the 21st minute but Nerrom Barrow equalised in the 26th minute.
Nakeel Wright scored early in the second half to give Dunbeholden the lead in the 48th minute before Dean Andre Thomas added a third in the 68th minute.
Kimonie Bailey then scored for Mt Pleasant in the 79th minute to make the score 3-2.
Dunbeholden were reduced to 10 men in the 83rd minute when Chevoy Watkins was shown a second yellow card and was sent off.
