Poem: In the Heart of the Library
HOLY Childhood High School student Tianna Myers recently penned the below piece, In the Heart of the Library, during her English class. Her teacher was impressed with the work, and it’s shared below. Tianna hopes the piece will inspire other young writers.
In the Heart of the Library
By Tianna Myers
In the quiet halls where whispers dwell,
A treasure trove of stories to tell.
Books lined up like fruits in a row,
Adventures waiting, ready to flow.
Pages turn, and worlds ignite,
Imagination takes its flight.
From ancient tomes to tales anew,
The library holds magic for me and you.
A refuge of knowledge, calm and bright,
Where dreams take shape in soft, warm light.
So step inside, let your mind explore,
In the heart of the library, there’s always more.
