Wesrok’s collab with Big Mountain hits Billboard chart
Recording artiste Wesrok has entered the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart with his song True Love, a collaboration with the American reggae band Big Mountain.
The song debuted last week at #86, leaving Wesrok upbeat about its performance.
“I am excited about the latest turn of events in my career. This song came about after a friend introduced me to the band’s lead singer, Joaquin McWhinney, who asked me to send him an original song. He was thrilled about it, and we agreed to collaborate. We also worked with a producer in Mexico to bring the song to life,” Wesrok explained.
True Love, according to Wesrok, conveys a powerful message about love. With the attention the song has received, a music video is now in the pipeline.
“We’re scheduling the video shoot in Mexico around October 30. Expectations are high, and I anticipate it will be well received,” Wesrok shared.
This Sunday, October 27, Wesrok will make his debut in Fort Myers, Florida, at the Suga Reggae Fest and Jerk Competition, held at Centennial Park.
He will share the stage with legendary Mykal Rose, Digicel Rising Stars winner Shuga, AJ Brown, Round Head, and Mr Easy, among others.
The event will be held under the distinguished patronage of Consul General Oliver Mair and Fort Myers Mayor Kevin Anderson.
Wesrok also noted he is working on his next EP, a full country and western project, which will showcase a different side of his artistry.
