HOUSTON, United States – Beyoncé is set to appear alongside Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in Houston, Texas on Friday.

According to an article from CNN, a person familiar with the planning made the revelation on Thursday. This will mark Harris’ first joint appearance with the music icon, whose single, Freedom, has been the soundtrack of the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign.

The occasion, in which Beyoncé will appear with Willie Nelson, is reportedly designed to be one of the biggest closing acts of the campaign.

Beyoncé reportedly gave her endorsement to the Harris/Walz campaign months ago. There were recent rumours that the internationally renowned singer would have joined Harris on the campaign trail in Chicago, however, Friday will be Beyoncé’s first time officially rallying with Harris. The superstar has a history of endorsing Democratic candidates. In past presidential campaigns she has endorsed Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
