Vendor in viral video expected to go to trial on November 27
ST JAMES, Jamaica — The vendor who was captured on video urinating in a bottle in the vicinity of the Charles Gordon Market in Montego Bay had her bail extended Wednesday.
Denese Adams, who pleaded not guilty to four different charges under the public health regulations when she previously faced a judge on September 25, is set to return to court on November 27.
Reports are that when she appeared on Wednesday, her lawyer was not present, and the matter was therefore put off to the new date, when it is expected that the trial will get underway barring any unforeseen developments.
Adams became infamous after a video recording of a woman urinating in a bottle went viral on social media.
The vendor was tracked down by the St James Health Services and following discussions, it was determined that she would be charged.
