48-hour curfew imposed in the Grange Hill, Westmoreland communities
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the Grange Hill communities of Geneva, Top Lincoln, Kings Valley, Belle Isle Road and Crowder in Westmoreland.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 18 and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 20.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: Along an imaginary line from the Peggy Barry Primary school to the quarry in the Kings Valley community;
East: Along an imaginary line from the Kings Valley community to the pump house at Bull Strode;
South: Along an imaginary line from the pump house at Bull Strode to the cane interval within Fullersfield community; and
West: Along an imaginary line from the cane interval within the Fullersfield community to the Peggy Barry Primary School.
During the hours of the curfew, all individuals within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
