Etana teams up with Kemar McGregor for dancehall track, ‘Mirror’
KINGSTON, Jamaica — International recording artiste and two-time Grammy nominee Etana switches it up and has tongues wagging with her new single Mirror, produced by renowned hitmaker Kemar McGregor, also known as ‘Billboard King’.
The music video, which premiered Wednesday on Worldstar Hip Hop and Hollywood Unlocked, is already creating waves across platforms.
Mirror is a hard-hitting dancehall track where Etana, who is known for her uplifting reggae songs, delivers powerful lyrics aimed at her detractors, boldly stating, “Dem a watch me and me nah study dem”.
As one of the few Jamaican female artistes to be nominated for a Grammy, Etana has consistently pushed boundaries. The video, already hailed as a must-watch, takes viewers on a visual journey complementing the song’s message of resilience and self-reflection.
Speaking about the release, Etana remarked, “Look into the mirror,” urging fans to reflect on their own lives as she continues to make bold statements through her music.
