SoFi Stadium to hold next two CONCACAF Nations League finals
MIAMI, United States (AFP) — The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) will host the next two editions of the Nations League Finals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood near Los Angeles, the confederation said on Wednesday.
The mini-tournament takes the format of a ‘Final Four’ with two semi-finals and then a third-place game and a final.
SoFi Stadium is one of the host venues for the World Cup in 2026 and is home to the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.
The next edition will be held from March 20th in 2025 and then again in March 2027.
The Nations League involves 41 national teams across North and Central America and the Caribbean.
The United States has won all three editions of the competition so far, most recently beating Mexico 1-0 in Dallas.
“We are extremely pleased that SoFi Stadium — one of the best venues in the world — will host the next two editions of Nations League Finals and that Hollywood Park, in which the stadium is based, will host a range of fan activities to celebrate this tremendous competition,” said CONCACAF president Victor Montagliani.
