Gas prices up $2.94, diesel up by $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 10, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $2.94, 90-octane will be sold for $175.86 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.84 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $165.93 per litre after an increase of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $174.03 per litre also up by $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $155.83 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.97 per litre up by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $84.29 per litre after an increase of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
