Rickey Teetz gets buzz with ‘Prime’
Montego Bay-based dancehall artiste Rickey Teetz is pleased that his latest single, Prime, is generating a major buzz in the streets since its release.
“The streets is loving Rickey Teetz right now. The single Prime is getting rotation everywhere – on the radio, on every mixtape from MoBay to Kingston – so the fans are gravitating towards the music,” he said in a press release.
The single was produced by Street Frame Record.
Other recent standout singles from the rhyme slinger include DInna which was released 10 months ago with visuals which have racked up over 36,000 views.
The Mobay-based artiste has been steadily solidified a formidable underground presence with his music which is a mix of motivational anthems, get-money hustler tracks and grimy street songs.
Rickey Teetz, whose real name is Ricardo McLean, was born in 1983 in the Montego Bay community of Rose Heights. Over the years, he has performed at events such as Britjam Fantasy Island, Live on the Waterfront, Wakesfield Jerkfest, Jamfest and several other shows.
He recently performed at Reggae Sumfest and a show dubbed Dubai Lifestyle.
