Man killed in home invasion in Porus, Manchester

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A man was shot and killed during a home invasion in Trinity district, Porus, Manchester, on Saturday night.

The police have identified the deceased as 33-year-old chef Seymour Brown.

According to law enforcement, at around 10:00 pm, Brown was at his home when gunmen entered and attacked him. He was shot multiple times and later pronounced dead at the hospital.

So far, 39 people have been murdered in Manchester since the start of the year.
