It’s a ShenYeng party!
In what was a memorable moment for ShenYengz, dancehall artiste Shenseea hosted and celebrated her first official birthday par in concert with her supporters on Friday night at Grizzly’s Planation in St Ann.
The venue came alive at 8:00 pm with patrons who were eager to be a part of the experience.
For some it would’ve been the first time seeing a live performance from Shenseea.
Attendee Trecia Brown, who is vacationing from the United Kingdom, told the
Jamaica Observer that she has been highly anticipating Shenseea’s appearance.
“I’m eager to see Shenseea; I’m a big fan. I’m in love with her beauty, confidence, and just the power she shows as a woman,” she said.
While patrons waited for her arrival they were entertained by local disc jocks and selectors such as Bishop Escobar, DJ Mac, Fyah Man, and DJ Lollipop, who whipped up a musical fiesta.
Sponsors of the event, Popeyes and Sunshine Snacks, also kept them fuelled with scrumptious chicken meals and snacks.
The moment finally arrived when the ShenYeng boss graced the stage at 3:17 am in a bright-red ruched mini bringing warmth and good vibrations to her supporters.
By this time the crowd was already ecstatic with their phones already on standby to capture the moment and singing, word-for-word, to her popular song Dolly.
Shenseea was later joined on stage by the dancing king Ding Dong, Chronic Law, and Stalk Ashley.
The vibe, especially for the women, was unmatched as they interacted and made a connection with Shenseea through her songs. Her performance ended at 3:45 am with her well-known track Lighter, which features Tarrus Riley.
“I wish Shen came on stage a little earlier, but I enjoyed my night to the fullest, everything was well put together,” one patron told the Jamaica Observer as she exited the venue.
