The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) hosted “A Tasteful Exchange: Norway Meets Jamaica” at ROK Hotel recently, showcasing its Saltfish from Norway brand. Guests enjoyed a unique salt fish pairing experience, with innovative salt fish dishes prepared by resident chefs at ROK Hotel. The event was a testament to the rich gastronomic ties between the two nations, featuring a fusion of flavours that celebrated their cultural bond.
The event also featured distinguished guests from the food industry, the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, and the National Fisheries Authority, highlighting the broader efforts to deepen the cultural exchange and enhance the appreciation of Norwegian salt fish.
