Gas prices up $0.25, diesel up by $1.07
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, September 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $175.98 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.96 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $163.40 per litre after an increase of $1.07 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $171.47 per litre also up by $1.20.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $152.52 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $70.97 per litre up by $0.43 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.98 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
