Pack Plays makes highly anticipated local debut
American-bred Pack Plays is set to make his eagerly awaited debut in Jamaica on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
The talented three-year-old will face six rivals in an Overnight Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward over 6 ½ furlongs (1,300m) at Caymanas Park.
Trained by Rowan Mathie Jr and ridden by Raddesh Roman,
Pack Plays boasts an impressive career record of two victories from nine starts.
As a two-year-old in the US, Pack Plays raced four times, securing one win and three third-place finishes. His maiden victory came in a maiden claiming event at Monmouth Park.
In 2024, as a three-year-old, Pack Plays started five times, winning once and registering two second-place finishes and one third-place effort. His three-year-old win came at Gulfstream Park in Florida on February 25, with Paco Lopez in the saddle.
Pack Plays’ last outing on June 21 at Gulfstream Park resulted in a third-place finish in an optional claiming call.

6. PERFECT BREW (5 b by Bern Identity – Moonlight Brew) – With three runs under his belt this season, Perfect Brew is primed to deliver a strong challenge to the favourite.
7. BURLAP (4b c by Casual Trick – Fedora) – Burlap is a capable runner who will be in contention throughout.
