Rassarella ends European run
Renowned deejay Rassarella recently concluded a highly successful European tour which saw him performing at a number of shows and music festivals in countries such as Germany, Spain, and England.
“I’m someone who brings the energy and performance to the stage every time. I am a strong believer in making sure the patrons have a great time,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
As a multifaceted performer, his experience as a DJ, producer, and entertainer brought forth several high-energy moments that were well-received by music lovers from all around the world.
“The Rototom 2024 dancehall stage was lit; there are many videos of the dancers validating that Rassarella’s set on the penultimate night of the biggest festival in Europe was the best night of 2024. These dancers are employed by the festival to dance every night while the DJs are playing so they were present every night. This is huge and was definitely a big moment,” the DJ told the Jamaica Observer, referring to his Rototom Sunsplash set on August 20 in Benicassim, Spain.
He also performed at the Ruhr Festival in Germany, described as three days of love, peace, and music, the festival took place from August 16 to 18. This was followed by Reggae Wi Seh in Ibiza, Spain, on August 22. He closed out his performances at the Notting Hill Carnival in London from August 25 to 26.
Currently the operator of Zion Train International Sound, which is owned by the Marleys, DJ Rassarella hones his talent in other areas. He is a DJ on Sirius XM, the
Ghetto Youths Set Up Shop hour and Roadblock Radio in New York.
He also has several singles out, such as Excitement and Jah Guide.
Upcoming on his agenda is his stint as the official DJ for the Welcome To Jamrock Cruise, which sets sail in December. He also revealed plans for an upcoming weekly event called Reggae Wi Seh, which is slated to begin in October.
