Life inspires Tefflon’s Immaculate
Trinidadian dancehall artiste Tefflon has released another track, titled Immaculate, with hopes to establish himself in the genre.
Produced by TobagoMolly and Yolo from Restricted Records in Trinidad and Tobago, the track was officially released on August 15.
“As a lyricist and a storyteller I get my inspiration from real life, day-to-day events, and create my own vibe. Immaculate is just another vibe, meeting someone, feeling them in that moment,” the artiste told the Jamaica Observer in explaining the track’s meaning.
The accompanying visualiser, done by CamraKid, shows the young singer laying down the vocals in the music booth, capturing the song’s laid-back vibe. Since its release, the track has been well-received, with fans already anticipating Tefflon’s next release.
“The feedback has been great so far, and I’m really grateful for my fans. My hope for the song is just that fans continue to enjoy it and it reaches the ears of new fans as well,” he added.
Immaculate follows the release of No Games, an ode to dancehall artiste Serani’s 2009 hit of the same name.
In the music game for the past four years, Tefflon showcases his lyrical prowess through dancehall sounds that entice his fans. With one of his most popular releases being the track Fall In Love, his previous singles also include Hurricane, Keep It Real, Buss Like Bamboo, and Don’t Judge.
“As an artiste, I’m in my own lane; I’m not attached to any numbers. I’m just on my own path mastering my craft and creativity while appreciating life as it comes [and] doing what I love. My aim is to use my platform to encourage the youth to find solitude in their own path and find their own passion,” Tefflon continued.
With the new song hitting the airwaves and performing well, the artiste said there is more for his fans to look forward to as he is in the process of recording more music.
“I am dropping a few more singles and then my EP, so you can look out for those soon,” Tefflon said.
