Gas prices up $0.25, diesel down by $0.91
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, September 19, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $175.73 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $166.71 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $162.33 per litre after a decrease of $0.91 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $170.27 per litre also down by $1.05.
Kerosene decreased by $2.97 and will be sold for $152.27 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $70.54 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.73 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
