Children caught on video in physical altercation identified — police
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Investigators are now probing an incident in which children at a Portland primary school were involved in a physical altercation.
The incident was caught on a video which has since gone viral.
According to the police, school resource officers attached to the Portland Community Safety and Security Branch (CSSB) visited the school on Tuesday. The students involved in the altercation were identified and their parents notified, the police said. The students involved are ages nine, 10 and 12.
The police said all parties involved, including the police, the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Youth and the school administration have pledged to work together to address the incident.
