Chronic Law ‘destroys’ the US iTunes Reggae Chart
Dancehall superstar Chronic Law released a number of songs last week with one in particular topping the US iTunes Reggae Chart and outperforming all others, titled Self Destruction, a collaboration featuring rising star Jinyus.
The single debuted at #47 then made a rapid upward trajectory to #4 before peaking at #2 on the day of its release, September 12, coincidentally Jinyus’s birthday.
Produced by Jinyus’s JTG Records alongside Kwankussion and KLJ Productions,
Self Destruction has personal lyrics explaining the struggles of a stressful life, not talking about them in a healthy environment and dealing with them in the not so best way possible.
Chronic Law lends his signature sound to the track in such a relatable manner for all to easily understand.
Jinyus is very lyrically hard core, helping to tie everything together to bring his points across and making the song one for the books. It will surely resonate with listeners for its artistry, composition, and delivery.
A music video is in the works.
