Body of woman washed away in river found

ST MARY, Jamaica— The body of a woman who was washed away in the Wag Water River in St Mary on Thursday has reportedly been found.

The woman, Chrisan Steele, was reportedly found in Flint River, in the parish, about six miles away from where disaster struck two days earlier.

Steele, and her friend Omar Skyers, were washed away when heavy rain sent the Wag Water River into spate. There have been no reports of Skyers’ body being recovered.
