The Miss Jamaica World 2024 finalists had much support from friends and family, last Friday, as they vied for the coveted crown at the Jamaica Pegasus ballroom. Signs, placards — both printed and handwritten — and vuvuzelas were the order of the day as each cheering squad tried to outdo the other.

In the end, all the cheers united for Tahje Bennett, who was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2024; 1st runner-up Jamila McGowan; and 2nd runner-up Shenelle Kellyman.
