Service restored
Dear Claudienne,
In April through migration to fibre optic, Flow made changes to the operations of my landline telephone. Since the Flow technician effected the migration of the landline, the phone has not worked, as it has a constant busy signal thereon.
The technician had noted the busy signal before he left. But had advised that normality would soon be restored to the system. However, I am still getting the busy signal several days later and am unable to receive or make calls.
I had also requested an assurance from Flow that the new arrangement would not result in an increased cost in my bills. Flow had indicated that there would be no increases in the service, (attendant on the new arrangement) neither in respect of the migration installation itself, nor the monthly charge for the current service. However, this has not been confirmed by Flow in communication I have subsequently got from them.
Could you please have them sort out this matter for me.
RH
Dear RH,
Tell Claudienne contacted Flow and notes that your landline service has been restored. Flow has also clarified your query on the billing aspect of landline phones that partake in the migration system. Flow has stated the following:
“We want to confirm that the migration of your landline number will not lead to any increase in your bill. There will be no additional costs associated with the migration installation, nor will there be any change to your monthly charges for the current service provided the landline is used within the conditions established in our previous e-mail to you. In the event you exceed your allotted minutes, you will be charged accordingly.
We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. We hope you found this information useful and should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us either by this medium or through our Customer Care Centre by calling the toll-free 1 800 804 2994.
