The second staging of the annual Caribbean Music Awards showcased the best of Caribbean music culture at the well-appointed Kings Theatre, in Brooklyn, New York.

The event, held on Thursday, August 29, was co-hosted by Queen of the Dancehall Spice and comedian Majah Hype and received support from artistes, industry stakeholders, well-wishers and fans cheering on their faves. The night featured several performances and included veteran reggae singer Marcia Griffiths and recording artiste Cedella Marley receiving the Lifetime Achievement and Legacy Awards, respectively.
