Three alleged intruders shot in Mandeville in two weeks
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police in Manchester are reporting that over the past two weeks three alleged intruders have been shot, two fatally, in Mandeville and its environs.
The latest shooting happened on Lily Close in Kingsland Meadows on Wednesday morning.
Police said about 3:00 am a team of Hawkeye security guards responded to a break in at a premises. During their response, a suspect was shot and injured.
The suspect is currently receiving treatment at hospital.
Meanwhile, on August 24, an alleged intruder was fatally shot by a licensed firearm holder in the upscale community of Ingleside in Mandeville.

Earlier, on August 18, an alleged intruder was fatally shot after he and another man invaded a policeman’s yard on New Acres Drive, in Mandeville.
