IN a continuation of its annual back-to-school initiative, Supreme Ventures Foundation (SVF) again partnered with Dent-Care Smile Clinic to deliver essential dental care to more than 100 wards of the State.

This marked the second consecutive year of collaboration between the two organisations.

This year, Dent-Care Smile Clinic expanded its reach by offering comprehensive dental cleanings and fluoride treatments not only to the children of Windsor Lodge Children’s Home but also to their caregivers.

“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this incredible community,” said Sarah Hyatt, general manager of Dent-Care Smile Clinic as she pointed out that this reflects the clinic’s belief that those who tirelessly care for others deserve to be cared for themselves.

The initiative featured a mobile dental unit set up at The Salvation Army, Windsor Lodge, Williamsfield, Manchester, where Dent-Care Smile Clinic’s expert team provided services aimed at promoting long-term oral health.

Each patient, whether a child or a caregiver, received a gift to help maintain their newly brightened smiles, complete with tools and resources for follow-up care, further emphasising the clinic’s commitment to lasting impact.

“Caregivers play a vital role in these children’s lives, and ensuring their oral health is our way of supporting their dedication and hard work.

“Collaborating with Supreme Ventures has been a wonderful experience. The coordination with Chloleen Muschett was seamless, and we were met with warm hospitality at every step. The energy and commitment from the Supreme Ventures team were unmatched, making the entire experience both enjoyable and productive,” added Hyatt.

She argued that this partnership between SVF and Dent-Care Smile Clinic showcases the strength of collaboration in making a tangible difference in the lives of Jamaicans, and both organisations are already planning future initiatives to continue delivering top-notch dental care to those in need.
