Leon Bailey recalled to Reggae Boyz squad for Nations League
Aston Villa forward Leon Bailey is set to make his return to the Reggae Boyz setup after being named in new head coach Steve McClaren’s squad for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League fixtures against Cuba and Honduras.
The 27-year-old hasn’t played for the senior men’s national team since November 2023 due to a suspension from former head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson and a self-imposed break, which saw him decline a call up to this summer’s Copa America.
The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) subsequently suspended the selection of Bailey to the senior men’s national team.

The squad is expected to arrive in the island next week ahead of their clash against Cuba at the National Stadium next Friday.
