Junior Bloodline draws on inspiration for Back to God rhythm
Producer and artiste manager Junior Bloodline is in high spirits following the release of his latest musical project, Back to God rhythm.
Released on August 2 via Junior Bloodline Music Group Productions, the project is distributed by ONErpm.
Junior Bloodline said a personal experience inspired the project.
“The title of the project was derived from the name of one of the songs, Back to God by gospel artiste Gee. At the time I had just gotten a stroke, which was a bad experience for me. Is the mercy of God that it wasn’t worst. Prayers from my mother and friends helped me get through that turbulent time. I also sought divine intervention from the Almighty. So, the only option was to give thanks by doing a project, titled by
Back to God, because now more than ever I am having a closer relationship with Him,” Junior Bloodline told the Jamaica Observer recently.
Back to God features the songs Big Dream by Pretty D, Showers of Blessings by Kan10t,
Give Thanks by Blak Diamon, Time by Tatik, Back to God by Gee, and IMF (Richies Affi Reach Mi Foot) by Onsoundmynd.
Asked how easy or difficult it was to assemble the artistes for the project, Junior Bloodline said: “Everything went smooth to record this project to be honest. Each artiste sent back their vocals in a short time because of the energy the rhythm gave them. Even while shooting the visualisers, which was done by kre8.1 studio, the artistes were on time and ready to shoot the videos.”
Junior Bloodline is pleased with the response that the project has received thus far.
“The feedback has been very positive and getting good reviews. People have been saying that the songs on the rhythm complement each other and they bring a positive outlook. Good music is still being made, unlike different sentiments being expressed,” he said.
Junior Bloodline’s previous rhythm projects include Holi Wata, Morning Bliss and
Lifespan.
