Plié for the Arts’ Amalgamation Gala night opened last Saturday with The Ashe Company performer Ricardo Anderson sharing the Little Theatre stage with young Lauren Campbell in an applaudable rendition of Timothée Chalamet’s Pure Imagination, Luciano’s Your World And Mine and John Lennon’s Imagine.

There were also rounds of applause for local dance troupe Company Dance Theatre (CDT) for Jamaica’s performance of The Blueprint; Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre’s Fix Me Jesus; and the Steven Cornwall-choreographed tribute to Jamaica,
Dancehall Caan Stall.
