Gas prices down $2.26, diesel down $0.31
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, August 29, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $181.16 per litre after a decrease of $2.26, while 87-octane will be sold for $172.14, down by $2.26.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $168.36 per litre after a decrease of $0.31 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $176.53 per litre down by $0.21.
Kerosene decreased by $1.06 and will be sold for $160.20 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.58 per litre up by $2.05 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.47 per litre after an increase of $2.23.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
