On Saturday, August 24, Plié for the Arts, the Jamaica-based cultural organisation founded by attorney-at-law, educator, creative director, and dancer Marisa Benain, returned with the 2024-themed Amalgamation: Pure Imagination, a compilation of some of the best dances and dancers from some of the best companies in the world.

With the promise of Israeli choreographer Shahar Binyamini’s breathtaking, 30-dancer production Bolero X, The Calling, an elegant solo choreographed by Jessica Laing, and the return of the Alvin Ailey Dance Company to the Almalgamation stage, the Little Theatre was at capacity for gala night.
