Full operations resume at Sangster International Airport

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The operators of the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James say the airport resumed full operations on Monday morning.

This follows a halt in full operations on Sunday due to repairs on a section of the runway in the vicinity of Taxiway Delta.

Sunday’s repairs had resulted in aircraft restrictions and temporary closure of some of the facilities.

The nature of the repairs were uncertain but photos obtained by Observer Online showed damage to the pavement of the runaway.
