Jahshii ready to light up PAN 2024 Grand Finals
Hit-making deejay Jahshii is ready to light up the stage at the PAN 2024 Grand Finals this Sunday, August 25, at Independence Park, Black River, St Elizabeth.
Best known for hits such as Born Fighter, Cream a Di Crop, 25/8, Stronger, and
Pieces, the artiste said he anxious to meet with his fans in St Bess.
“I am looking forward to performing for the people of St Elizabeth. My performance will centre around motivation for the youths and upliftment. I believe in pushing through struggles and not giving up on your dream; sometimes it’s hard to keep going and not be negatively influenced, but we can do it, and I want to inspire the youths to think in a better way” Jahshii reasoned.
The dancehall artiste said he is a big fan of pan chicken.
“My favourite part of the chicken is leg and thigh. Anywhere I travel in the world, I am always on the lookout for pan chicken. It’s a healthier alternative. And whenever I am in Jamaica, is Shaggy on Red Hills Road mi get my pan chicken from,” said Jahshii.
Aside from the popular Kiddies Village, powered by Caribbean Passion, there will be non-stop activities, giveaways, and various competitions on stage hosted by media personality Dufton “Duffy” Shepherd and Miss Kitty.
The day’s festivities will feature an eclectic sets of artistes. Patrons will be treated to a dynamic mix of genres, courtesy of dancehall artistes Ding Dong, Laa Lee, reggae artiste Christopher Martin, gospel act Rondell Positive, and up-and-coming artiste Gee.
PAN 2024, hosted by CB Foods, is a culinary showdown wherein pan chicken competitors battle it out in a live cook-off, vying for a chance to win the grand prize of $1 million, courtesy of CB Foods. The competition will be fierce as the second- and third-place winners will also take home impressive cash prizes of $750,000 and $500,000, respectively.
Winners will also receive prizes from PAN 2024 partners, including National Baking Company, Red Stripe, JN Money, Walkerswood, and Wisynco.
With 32 competitors, including two wild cards, representing all parishes, the stage is set for an epic battle for who really has the better-tasting pan Chicken.
Gates open at 12:00 noon.
