Gas prices down $3.06, diesel down $0.84
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, August 22, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $183.42 per litre after a decrease of $3.06, while 87-octane will be sold for $174.40, down by $3.06.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $168.67 per litre after a decrease of $0.84 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $176.74 per litre down by $0.85.
Kerosene decreased by $2.94 and will be sold for $161.27 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.53 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.24 per litre after an increase of $1.76.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
