Rajindra Campbell wins shot put at Germany meet
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell on Friday won the men’s shot put event at the Internationaler Thumer Werfertag in Germany.
Campbell won the event with a final round attempt of 21.64m.
Scott Lincoln of Great Britain was second with 20.74m.
Campbell this month created history when he became the first Jamaican to win a medal in the shot put event at the Olympic Games after he gained bronze with a throw of 22.15m in the final at Stade de France in Paris.
