Police ID suspect in threat against PM
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The police have identified the man seen in a mask in a video on social media threatening Prime Minister Andrew Holness, his wife and residents of Clarendon.
He is 21-year-old Garfield Ross of Bloomfield Street, Mandeville, Manchester.
It was earlier reported that Ross was under police guard at a hospital in Manchester.

Reports are that on Thursday, August 15, between 6:00 am and 7:00 am a targeted raid was conducted at his premises. It is alleged that he tried to elude the police and injured himself.
He was then taken to hospital where he was treated and released.
Ross is now in custody pending further investigations, the Manchester Proactive Investigation Unit confirmed.
