Plane veers off runway at Tinson Pen
KINGSTON, Jamaica — An aircraft attempting to land at Tinson Pen in Kingston reportedly ran off the runway on Thursday when it developed difficulties.
Reports are that approximately 12:45 pm, a Piper Aztec 34 aircraft coming from the Sangster International Airport was attempting to land when it veered off the runway to the south, overturned, and came to a halt in the verges.
Two men were reportedly on board the aircraft when the incident happened. They were taken to the hospital for medical checks.
However, Transport Minister Daryl Vaz confirmed that there are no injuries.
Further investigations are being conducted.
