VertiCast to issue full refunds to customers
KINGSTON, Jamaica— VertiCast Media Group says it will be issuing full refunds to customers who were affected by the non-distribution of English Premier League (EPL) matches on the CSport platforms last season.
The company made the disclosure in a news release on Tuesday where it announced that its term as the broadcast rights holder of EPL matches has come to an end.

During the latter part of the 2023/2024 EPL season, fans across the region had complained that they were not able to view matches on the platform despite paying between US$3 (J$453) per week to US$77.99 annually to watch matches.
“We recognise the challenges with Premier League distribution from February to April 2024 and are committed to issuing full refunds to those affected customers,” Verticast said.
Following the complaints earlier this year the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica launched an investigation which resulted in CVM TV, which is also owned by VertiCast, being censured over misleading advertising.
