Gas prices up $1.79, $1.81, diesel up $0.66
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, August 15, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $186.49 per litre after an increase of $1.81, while 87-octane will be sold for $177.46, up by $1.79.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $169.51 per litre after an increase of $0.66 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $177.59 per litre up by $0.75.
Kerosene increased by $0.15 and will be sold for $164.21 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.28 per litre up by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $79.48 per litre after an increase of $0.35.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
