The 15th anniversary staging of Dream Wknd kicked off last Friday, August 2, with the ‘Pajamas and Lingerie’-themed Twisted Spiritz party at Wavz Beach in Negril.

The event featured a spicy performance from host Jada Kingdom as well as musical entertainment from DJ Nicco, Coppershot and Miami-based Dutty Dex, all taking the crowd through a range of genres amid a heavy downpour.

“We’re happy with the response as the Dreamers showed up and showed out for our 15th anniversary. We had a wonderful turnout to start things off and this is just absolutely amazing. Despite the rain, our patrons stayed and partied and this just shows that, rain or shine, it’s Dream Wknd all the way!” said festival director Ron Burke.
